It may seem that things at Olive & Edna headquarters have been a bit slow since the start of 2017, but behind the scenes we have been planning and collecting to update the site and our products.
We've attended a few Vintage Fairs and Flea Markets always on the look out for that special item to add to our shop, and have a few exciting things in the pipeline.
First we are having another Olive & Edna at home event. I'm sorry that this has to be by invitation only, but if you are local we hope to see you there. We've ordered a nice day so that we can set up some of the bigger pieces of furniture we have outside.
For those that won't get to see us at that event we have decided to take a stand at the Vintage Flea Market at the Lincoln Showground. Initially it will be a one off to see what kind of response we have and hope to be there on Sunday April 23rd. Please come and say hello if you are in the area. If we don't have what you're looking for we will willingly keep our eyes peeled for you. I know that many of you with on line shops are looking for props for your product photography, so if you have something specific in mind do contact Heidi or Jenny at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to hear from you.
In the meantime Jenny has been creating some new one of a kind collage jewellery pieces. Some based on a daisy design and some sea themed which we will be taking to the show and then uploading onto the site. These are created from rescued vintage and newer pieces of broken and discarded jewellery which she buys, including some from charity shops which would otherwise go for scrap. She is also creating some steam punk designs. We very much embrace the recycling ethos and love to think that our re-creations will be enjoyed for many years to come.
Well that's all our news for now. We hope to see you soon.
