We are mum Jenny and daughter Heidi, two girls passionate about the past and collecting things. Having run out of shelves, cupboards and even rooms in our homes to continue our love for all things old, quirky and desirable, we needed an outlet to pass on some of our overspill!

And so Olive and Edna was born.

At first we concentrated on the decorative, collectible and homewares side of the vintage scene, but the more fairs we attended we realised particularly at specific 1940s events that many customers were more interested in what we were wearing than what we actually had for sale and so gradually we started to seek out vintage clothes and accessories. We found vintage patterns and recreated some of the looks and created 1940s hats and more jewellery to sell with our originals.

We are not re enactors, though we try to keep our own outfits and those we make as near to the originals as possible. We are merely lovers of a past way of living and delight in wearing and seeing others dressed in vintage style.

If you are looking for something specific and dont see it here, send us a message and we will keep our eyes peeled.

Olive and Edna.......well they were two awesome girls who lived through our favourite 1940s,1950s era, Jenny's mum and mum in law, and it was through their stories of the past that our vintage love began. We hope you will love what we sell. Do come back often though as we hope to have new stock regularly.

During the current awful pandemic we obviously have been unable to attend any vintage events. We feel that vintage clothes and hats need to be tried before you buy, we have therefore taken the decision to only sell our accessories and jewellery on line. Hopefully in the not too distant future we will be able to offer a full range again.

We have both had to adapt what we are doing to cope with the current situation and so Jenny has been concentrating on her hand made jewellery which she showcases both here and on our Olive & Edna Facebook page.

Not all of this is vintage styled, so if your taste is more contemporary do keep checking back as you may well find something to your liking.
