Faux Petoskey stone necklace (brown)

This polymer clay necklace has been created to mimic Petoskey and other stones. Carved coloured and manipulated, the ' Petoskey stone' was made by forming a cane (a bit like a stick of seaside rock) which has the pattern running through it. This is then thinly sliced to cover a backing clay from which the beads are made. It is about 19 inches (48cm) long and is hung from buna cord.
